Description: A pineapple hybrid developed and released by Kerala Agricultural University. It is a cross between Kew and Ripley Queen and produces cylindrical fruits with firm, non-fibrous, pale-yellow flesh.

Identification: Spiny leaves; cylindrical fruit slightly tapering toward the base; small crown; firm pale-yellow non-fibrous flesh when ripe.

Habitat & distribution: Developed for cultivation in Kerala and suitable for tropical conditions. The cultivar has a duration of approximately 12 months under the reported cultivation conditions.

Uses / importance: Suitable for commercial cultivation, fresh consumption, processing and export. It is characterized by high total soluble solids and relatively low acidity.
